Easy Halloween Special Effects… No Special Supplies Required!

Easy SFX idea using only items you already own!

Supplies:

• Toilet Paper
• Eyelash Glue
• Concealer
• Scissors
• Red Lip Liner
• Red Lipstick
• Red Lipgloss
• Black Eyeliner
• Large Safety Pin
• Optional: Blue or Purple Lipstick (not used in photo)

Steps:

1.  Sketch out injury with red lip liner.
2. Cover area with eyelash glue.
3. Rip one ply of toilet paper into roughly the shape of your injury, apply to face, let dry.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3.
5. Cover the toilet paper “skin” with your usual concealer to match your real skin.
6. Once completely dry, cut hardened paper in half with scissors. (Carefully!! Don’t cut your skin or eyes!)
7. Cut should reveal the original red sketched out area, fill in with lip liner if necessary.
8. “Deepen”  cut with black eyeliner. Apply where a cut would be the deepest.
9. Cover outer area with red lipstick to create bruised/infected look. OPTIONAL: use blue or purple lipstick for added bruising affect (NOT USED IN PHOTO)
10. Go in with a red lipgloss for a wet and bloody touch
11. Hold your injury together with a safety pin (or anything else your imagination comes up with!)
12. Creep out all your friends.
